His favorite time was spent with his wife, traveling, camping and cruising.

Ron is survived by his nieces and nephews, Susan (David) Puckett, Cindy (Greg) Mahler, and Bruce (Pat) Arter; his grand nieces and nephews, Eric Mahler, Brett Arter, Gretchen (Jason) Ensink, and Ali (Ben) Isbrecht; and his great grand nieces and nephews, Hudson and Ava Ensink, and Emory, Lexi, and Milo Isbrecht.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Deatra Hathcock; his son, Richard Owen Hathcock; and his sister, Mary Elaine Arent.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Holly, Ron’s caregiver; as well as the staff at Woodland Terrace for their care over the last three years.
