We would like to send our condolences to the Beckman family. She was always a joy to visit with when visiting friends and family in Michigan. I have so many memories I don't know where to begin. The earliest memory was when I was about 4 years old, Leatrice and Fred (senior) took care of me and my baby brother who was still in diapers while our parents went on vacation to D.C. for a week.

Leat was a person, when she entered the room, lit it up and brought a smile to many. I love that woman. They don’t make them like her anymore.
Her children are apples that didn’t fall far from the tree. God bless you Beckman family.
