Obituary

Kelli Lyn McLean, 54, now of Bloomington, IL formerly of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Wednesday – January 29, 2020 in Normal, IL. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.

Kelli was born on January 13, 1966 in St. Joseph, MI to Michael and Sharon (Stumpf) McCalla. On April 25, 1987 in St. Joseph she married Joey Wayne McLean. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to many. Kelli was a special person who will be missed by more people than we may realize.

Kelli is survived by her husband Joey; a daughter – Brittany (Stephen) McLean of Chicago; and her mother – Sharon McCalla of Bloomington, IL. She is preceded in death by her father Michael McCalla and a brother Sean McCalla.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday – February 3, 1:00pm at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home, with Pastor Erik Gustafson officiating. Visitation with the family precedes the service from 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial follows the service at Riverview Cemetery in St. Joseph. There will also be a Celebration of Life gathering in Bloomington, IL on Feb. 9, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at Kegler’s Pub. Memorial contributions may be made to either the National Kidney Foundation – www.kidney.org or to the Lupus Foundation – www.lupus.org.
