Jimmie Ray Little, 49, of St. Joseph, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at his home.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 1PM, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Pastor Dean Pickett officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on February 14, 2020, from 11AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at

Jimmie was born on January 3, 1971, to Jimmie & Melba (Hall) Little in St. Joseph. He attended Bridgman High School. Starting at the age of 15, Jimmie worked as an Mason and soon started his own business called JR Masonry. In 1992, he met the love of his life Crystal Keith and married her on May 18, 2002, in St. Joseph. Jimmie enjoyed spending his time watching NASCAR, working on cars and boating. He also enjoyed tending to his plants and his beautiful aquariums. Most of all, Jimmie loved to spend his time with his family.

Jimmie is survived by his wife Crystal Little of St. Joseph; daughters, Kayla Little of St. Joseph and Lauren Little of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Prayson & Landon Little; loyal dogs “his boys” Bo & Duke; father Jimmie Little of St. Joseph; mother Melba Little of Stevensville; sister Sherry (Mark) Feldten of Coloma; nieces, Allison (Nick Obermesik) Feldten, Emily Feldten, Kendra Cooper, Carrina Cooper and Kristen Cooper; great niece & nephew, Willow & Tate Cooper; mother-in-law Carolyn Keith; and sister-in-law Renee (Kenny) Cooper.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his grandparents Mavis & JB Hall; grandfather Leonard Little; uncle Chip Balkin; father-in-law Ferlin Keith; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I did not know him for a long time but know his Dad’s family for many years. When it did see him He always had a smile and such a wonderful personality. Such a hard worker.
My prayers and thoughts are with his family and everyone that cared so much about him.
