Jean was born on January 9, 1964, to George, Sr., & Cora (Emde) Daday in St. Joseph. For many years Jean worked in the home health care industry tending to the needs of others. On nice days, Jean would love to visit the local garage sales and see what deals she could find because “a dollar or less but free is best” is a motto she enjoyed to live life by. She would also love to take road trip with her family, never being the driver, but embracing being the passenger so she could take in watching all of her surroundings. She also liked to make jewelry, visit zoo’s and anything that deals with lighthouses and unicorns. However, what Jean loved the most in her life was her grandchildren. Spending time with them always gave her the biggest smile.

Jean is survived by her father, George Daday, Sr.; children, Jerry (Caitlyn Murdock) McDonald and Elizabeth (Dustan Dushuanack) McDonald; grandchildren, Morgan, Ward & Keilyn Cheney, Lilly Dushuanack, Xoey & Chloe McDonald, Ethan Merrill, and Serenity & Tucker McDonald; significant other, Llyod Glupker; siblings, Arlene Dull, George Jr., & Bobby Daday; half-sister, Georgia; and, brothers-in-law, Jeff Bush, Jerry Sisk, and Willie Limburg.

Jean was preceded in death by her mother, Cora; son, Thomas McDonald II; and siblings, Debbie Bush, Kathy Sisk, Janet Limburg, and Steve Daday.

Rest in peace Jean. 🥀
You fought this horrific disease and never once gave up, fighting with strength and grace to the very end.
To Liz and the grandchildren & family we send our condolences and are deeply sorry for your loss & sending our love.
To Lloyd you stood by Jean from the very beginning and held her hand throughout this like a wonderful loving partner. She was the love of your life as you were to hers.
May you rest now upon that mountain, grow those beautiful angel wings in Paradise and dance with the unicorns. 🙏 Harry & Rose
